Cooking & Nutrition for Cancer Patients
Wednesdays of Alternating Months

Offered every other month, this program focuses on the unique nutritional needs of cancer patients and combines cooking demonstrations with discussions on nutrition and overall health. The four-session course begins the first Wednesday of the month and continues over the following three Wednesday evenings.
The program is team taught by three expert facilitators, Chef Greg O’Gorman, Clinical Dietician Maryann Hagberg, R.D., and Naturopathic Physician Jenna Blasi, N.D. A course overview follows:

Week One - healthy eating for individuals with a diagnosis of cancer

Week Two - grains and sauces for nutrition-rich recipes

Week Three - vegetables and protein

Week Four – Planning simple, healthy meals and putting it all together
There is no charge to attend, but pre-registration is required. Space is limited to the first 15 registrants for each monthly program.

HUGS Cancer Support Group

HUGS is a support group for cancer survivors and those with a current diagnosis, regardless of the type. Friends and family are always welcome.

Yoga for Cancer Survivors
Schedule varies, check our online calendar for current schedule.
Classes are for men and women with a diagnosis of cancer. Newly diagnosed, still in treatment, long-term survivor – ALL are welcome! Certified Instructor, Susan Kiley, tailors classes to meet individual needs. Classes include: Breathing Techniques, Physical Poses & Meditation. All classes are made possible through a grant from the Susan G. Komen foundation.
