Not knowing what to expect, I was a little afraid of what was to happen. Upon entering the area, I was immediately put at east by the friendliness and caring of all the people who were to take care of me. I was so impressed. I actually looked forward to going there every day. The people were wonderful and helpful. I never experienced such caring people.

The facility is very pleasant. I loved the waiting area and the warm fireplace. Since my treatments were early in the morning, it was cozy to come inside by the fire, especially when it was cold outside. The area was always clean. Appointments were always on time - no waiting. I loved walking into the building, seeing the waterfall every day. Everyone was cheerful, friendly and smiling, always explained what was happening, always pleasant when a family member came with me to treatment.

Everyone I have come in contact with has been wonderful and very supportive and optimistic. Every time I needed something I was referred to the appropriate person. The Radiation Oncology staff was the best. Every morning for seven weeks I was met with smiles and an upbeat, happy environment, which I greatly appreciated. The physical environment of the facility was beautiful and serene. They were all wonderful and it made an unpleasant diagnosis most tolerable. Thank you.

I was an emergency case and was fit in immediately for my treatment. I made my appointment for the following week to start treatment for 13 days of radiation oncology. My doctor was informative and caring. My nurses made me feel welcome and cared for my every need each day. The fact that I felt I had one-on-one personal attention each time that I came for my treatment, and that I was not another number. I was a person that someone cared for each day. The care that I received was wonderful. The kindness of the staff and my doctors was the best that I have ever experienced. I felt cared for and my family knew that I was receiving the absolute best treatment possible. I would recommend Griffin’s Center for Cancer Care to anyone who needed cancer treatment. If you want the best, go to the Center for Cancer Care at Griffin.
